Frostpunk tips11/30/2023 I've not crossed the line using propaganda centres but I'm not sure if its consistent Not crossing the line shouldn't be a problem if you plan long term, faith is easier to use to control hope and the Londoners, children in shelters is better than using them to work anyway. Scout early, more people and more resources early are going to set you up well You're on the right track but now you know what you did wrong. I also think I should have “gone too far.” The lack of security and extreme measures made it hard to keep order.ĭont want to give you too many hints because the struggle of finding what works makes it do much nicer when you finish. It was great I was able to research two new techs in a day, sometimes three (if I had the resources). I had about 20, because I had so many engineers. Part of the issue, I think, was all the research facilities I wound up having, all with advanced heaters. I don’t know how much of a difference that makes, but that’s what I did.Įven with three steam coal mines run by automatons (not advanced didn’t have enough cores because I had used them for two industrial hothouses and two infirmaries), with the generator at power level 4 and level 3 heaters, we were absolutely ripping through our coal supply. I neglected upgrading the generator’s range, favoring steam hubs and heaters. I finally caught up later on, but I think I was just a bit too late. I was so focused on trying to have housing and care for the sick that I negated it for the first 2 days. I didn’t start researching new tech quickly enough. Here are some key points I took away from it: I made all due effort to get us back on track, which worked, but I just couldn’t get enough heat to keep people alive. I made it about halfway through the great storm when we ultimately ran out of coal due to my hand being forced with letting the mines collapse. I tried it once, placing as much emphasis as possible on healthcare and engineering, while also trying not to “cross the line.” Two infirmaries, a dozen Care houses, and several houses of healing, with extra rations for the sick, and I still couldn’t keep pace with the rate of illnesses. So I’ve got the hang of the game, at least on normal mode, and managed The Last Autumn with no deaths, so I’d like to complete a no deaths run of the main game on normal.
